My Path from Architecture to UI/UX
Architecture taught me to work in layers—combining strength, beauty, and use all at once. It showed me that good design always starts with the people who will use a space. And it made me focus on every little detail, because even the smallest choice changes how a room looks and feels.
I co-founded a company blending architecture and urban design to make AR games based on spatial thinking. To get things off the ground, I taught myself web development and built our website—finding a whole new creative outlet. When the company closed during COVID, I kept diving into digital design—WordPress sites, branding, motion graphics—and that led me straight to my true passion: UI/UX design, where usefulness, looks, and how people interact all come together.
In UI/UX, I combine storytelling, and visual design with a strong focus on function. I don’t just ask “How does it look?”—I ask “Why does it matter?” and “Who is it for?” My background lets me design with clear purpose, building experiences that truly meet people’s needs. I’m still telling visual stories, but now they’re interactive, adaptable, and meant to be used, not just seen.
